This is a Sambalpuri Ikat cotton kurti. The kurti is a deep magenta or plum color and features a prominent central panel showcasing traditional Sambalpuri Ikat weaving.

The central panel has a series of geometric patterns. The most striking are the two large, square motifs with a dark, cross-like design on a white background, which are characteristic of Sambalpuri weaving. Surrounding these squares are horizontal bands with intricate, multi-colored Ikat patterns in shades of black, red, and off-white.

The sleeves and sides of the kurti are made from the same magenta-colored Ikat fabric, but with a different, smaller-scale pattern. A narrow, light grey border with tiny geometric motifs runs along the edges of the central panel and around the neckline, creating a clean separation between the different fabric sections. The kurti has a round, slightly square-cut neckline and three-quarter length sleeves.
